“Since I was young, I've always been fascinated by real estate and every sector of it. I am also passionate about helping others,” says John Bailey, who ultimately turned his fascination into a full-blown career with the conception of John Bailey Realty in 2003. “With the encouragement and support from my family who was and still is involved in real estate investing, John Bailey Realty was born—to ensure clients' needs and concerns were met; while finding not just a house, but a home.”

Since it bowed, Bailey’s eponymous boutique real estate firm has grown into one of the most successful real estate, property management and leasing firms in Georgia. Most recently, Bailey expanded his team’s services to Golden Isles, Ga., assisting Sea Island and St. Simons Island with real estate needs, in addition to launching a Luxury Vacation Rentals division. 

He’s not just making waves on the real estate market, but also on Atlanta’s philanthropy scene, with his dedication to fundraising for a good cause. “My girlfriend and I are very passionate about The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS),” he explains. “Our dear friends, Michelle and Scott Carey, are both survivors and brought this wonderful organization to our attention. We got involved and raised over $56,000 to support this incredible organization.”

When he’s not putting a “sold” sign on the most coveted addresses in Atlanta or donating his time to charitable causes, Atlantans can catch Bailey cruising the BeltLine, playing tennis or indulging in the city’s best restaurants.
